Subscriptions
One row for each subscription or recurring bill, with room for 60: name, category, cost per payment, billing cycle, billing date, status, who uses it, how you pay and notes. The cost per month, cost per year, next renewal date, days left and a heads-up are worked out for you.
Billing cycles
Weekly, monthly, quarterly, every 6 months and yearly are ready. Add your own, such as every 2 months, on the Settings sheet.
Free trials
Mark a subscription as a free trial and type the day it ends. The first charge is expected on that day, the row gets a Trial ends soon heads-up, and the dashboard shows what your trials would add if you keep them.
Renewal calendar
What is charged in each of the next 12 months, subscription by subscription, with the total and the number of renewals for every month.
Dashboard
Cost per month and per year, active subscriptions, renewals in the next 7 and 30 days (you choose the number of days), trials ending, paused and cancelled counts and the yearly effect of price changes. Two charts, plus lists of the next renewals, the most expensive subscriptions and your free trials.
Savings
Mark a subscription as cancelled and see what cancelling saves per month and per year, plus an estimate of what you haven't paid since the day you cancelled. Paused subscriptions are totalled separately.
Price changes
Log each price rise or cut with the old and the new cost, and see the change per payment, the change per year and the total for the last 12 months.
Settings
Choose how many days ahead you want to be warned, and edit the lists of categories, billing cycles and payment methods.

Four steps from payment to done
Pay, download the two files and open them in Microsoft Excel, or upload them to Google Sheets.
On the Settings sheet, check how many days ahead you want to be warned and look through the categories and payment methods.
Add one row for each subscription or bill: name, category, cost, billing cycle and a billing date.
Everything else calculates: costs, next renewals, the calendar, free trials and savings.
Before you buy
We want you to know exactly what this workbook is and isn't.
- White cells are for you to type in. Grey cells calculate automatically.
- Room for 60 subscriptions, 40 price changes and a Savings list of the 30 biggest savings (the totals count every cancelled subscription).
- Only Active subscriptions, or rows with an empty status, are counted in the totals, the dashboard and the calendar. Free trials, paused and cancelled subscriptions are listed on their own.
- A free trial needs only its end date: the first charge is expected on that day.
- The cost per month is the cost per year divided by 12.
- Amounts are shown with a dollar sign. Type plain numbers: the figures work the same for any currency.
- Renews soon, Trial ends soon and other heads-ups are highlighted in the sheet. The workbook does not send reminders or notifications.
- The sample copy pretends today is October 14, 2026, so its numbers stay put. Clear that cell on the Settings sheet to use today's date.
- You type in your own numbers. Nothing connects to your bank or your accounts.

Common questions
Will it remind me before a subscription renews?
It highlights what is coming up each time you open the workbook: Renews soon and Trial ends soon heads-ups on the Subscriptions sheet and the dashboard. It doesn't send emails or notifications.
Can I track bills that aren't subscriptions?
Yes. Phone, internet, insurance and other regular bills fit the same way: pick a category and a billing cycle. You can add your own cycle, such as every 2 months, on the Settings sheet.
How are free trials counted?
A free trial isn't part of your monthly cost until you change its status to Active. Until then it has its own list, and the dashboard shows what your trials would add if you keep them.
Which programs does it work in?
Microsoft Excel and Google Sheets. The workbooks have no macros, no add-ins and no links to other files.
What do I get after I pay?
Two .xlsx files: a copy with sample data, so you can see how it works, and a blank copy to start with. You land on a download page right after payment, and we email you a link that works for 90 days.
Do I need an account?
No. You pay with Stripe Checkout, and the download page and the emailed link are all you need. We keep your email address and your order so the link keeps working.
How do I open it in Google Sheets?
Upload the .xlsx file to Google Sheets, then choose File > Save as Google Sheets. That gives you your own copy to edit there.
Can I get a refund?
It's a digital product with instant access, so all sales are final. If a file won't open or something doesn't work as described, email hello@inksets.us and we'll help. See our refund policy.
Can I share the files or use them for clients?
The files are for your own use. Please don't resell, share or redistribute them. See our terms.
